Two (2) credits, 30 hours This course deals with the origin, creation, purpose and scope of the Federal Promise Act (The Puerto Rico Oversight, Management, and Economic Stability Act) approved by the United States Congress and signed by President Barack Obama on June 30 2016, to guide a debt restructuring program and address the problem of fiscal crisis of the government of Puerto Rico until the year 2056. Recovery measures, the arrival of the Fiscal Supervision Board, fiscal plans and debt adjustment will be studied.
