Catalog description

Three (3) credits, 45 hours This course allows the student to know the new challenges that public policy faces before technological changes, innovation, and how emerging technologies help to solve these challenges. The student examines the role of innovation, science, and technologies involved in the economic development of the country, as well as, competitiveness and commercialization within a political approach. Basic concepts such as the Industrial Revolution, Artificial Intelligence, Technological Innovation, and the laws of the country that regulate them are studied. The student will also learn about internati onal agreements and treaties, the International Telecommunication Union, the World Trade Organization, and how these are affected by different political systems.
