Catalog description
This course is about specific training and fitness techniques for special populations. In this course, the techniques and design of exercise routines are aimed at the development of resistance, hypertrophy, strength, power, balance, agility, toning, and stimulation of muscle fibers adapted to special populations are exposed. It includes the study of strength as a physical quality, physiology of movement , factors and tests that determine muscle strength and training programs such as: aesthetic purposes, health and integral well-being, and rehabilitation of injuries, Olympic and power lifting, bodybuilding, complement and optimization of sports training. I n addition, monitoring and supervision methods, customer safety procedures and proper handling of equipment are discussed.
