Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to study the meaning of the medical terms used in the medicine field as accepted by the scientific community. It will facilitate the exchange of information between health professionals. It specifically covers the roots, ba sic prefixes and suffixes of essential terms used in the sciences allies/associated to health. It also includes the relation to the human body’s main support systems, the study of the different evaluation methods used by health specialists, abbreviations, and symbols and signs used in medical records and in prescriptions.
