Three (3) credits, 45 hours This course is aimed at preparing the student to develop the analytical skills at an operational and tactical level of the strategies to follow in the protection of dignitaries and executives in public places. The development of strategic plans to provide information at the highest levels in decision making are analyzed in this course. The study of security policies against criminal threats, the exchange of information with law enforcement agencies, and the processing of computerized secret information about organized crime, criminal background investigation, ele ctronic monitoring, and the development of surveillance plans are included. The course emphasizes on the discussion of risk analysis as a consequence of threats, and the vulnerability of the internal and external environment of dignitaries and executives.
