Catalog description

Co-requisites: PTA 2250 This laboratory course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to develop and practice skills related to patient management during daily living activities such as bed mobility, tr ansfers, ambulation with various orthotic, prosthetic, and assistive devices, necessary for the functioning of individuals with physical disabilities. Cultural, social, psychological, and physical diversity aspects will be taken into consideration. The acq uired knowledge will be applied under the direct supervision of the licensed physical therapist in accordance with Law 114.
