Co-requisites: PTA 1120 This course provides practical experience in developing skills related to patient care, including aseptic techniques, taking vital signs, wound care, sensory deficits, body mechanics, proper posture, bed mobility, and patient transfer. Additionally, t he student applies patient/client management in accordance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
