Three (3) credits, 45 hours This course introduces students to the electoral and representative government system of the United States of America. The historical processes, structures, and major public and political institutions of the United States are studied. Also, the Electoral College System, the economic framework, financial system and markets are examined. It goes into the role of interest groups, the media, the military industry, and the role of the United States on the international scenario.
