Three (3) credits, 45 hours This course is about the origin and development of International Law as a tool for unity of purpose and a climate of peace among the nations of the world, as well as identifying various public policy issues that must be addressed from a global perspective, such as initiatives on: the economy, human rights, climate change, health, education and the fight against poverty. With equal i mportance, the relations of people, the creation of the United Nations (UN), the International Court of Justice and the various international organizations that address specific areas of common welfare are discussed.
