Catalog description

Three (3) credits, 60 hours This course provides students with the basic concepts and principles of Physics. The course promotes knowledge development about scientific phenomena based on mathematical and vector quantities with due precision, accuracy and reliability. Includes the following topics: scientific method, measurements, unit conversion, some fundamental mathematics useful for physics and basic concepts in mechanics, description of motion in one and two dimensions, and Newton's Law.
