Catalog description

Co-requisite: NUR 3225 This course provides the nursing student with the opportunity to integrate the theoretical concepts discussed in class with clinical practice. The student will be able to apply the knowledge learned in theory to make an estimate of holistic health knowledge and necessary health skills as well as client illness. The skill in learning that arises when conducting an interview provides the ideal tool for the student to use his critical thinking; considering the cultural, social and lifest yle diversity of the client. The correct application when practicing physical examination techniques using a format in the theory of Imogene King, will provide identification of the health deviations of the client based on the nursing process; offering a high quality, excellent and avant-garde nursing care.
