Co-requisite: NUR 2220 This course provides the student with the opportunity to integrate theoretical material discussed in class with clinical practice. It encourages direct interaction and intervention with elderly hospitalized patients who have cardiovascular, respiratory, muscular -skeletal, and endocrine and reprodu ctive system diseases. The use of the nursing process is emphasized when offering direct care to the individual taking into consideration his/her condition, risk factors, and recommended therapeutical modalities.
