Study of the a natomical and physiological aspects of the respiratory s ystem, emphasizing frequent traumatic and medical emergency conditions. The course focuses on the practice of proced ures, techniques and handling of patients with problems of the respiratory system. Includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques with patients of different ages and the use of mechanical instruments to improve and alleviate respiratory problems.
