Catalog description
This course critically examines the most important events in the historical process of the Puerto Rican society. The relationship of cause and effect are analyzed, according to our historiography, to describe coherently the diversity of the basic characteristics of current Puerto Rican culture and society. Considering the economic, political, social and cultural transformation, the s tudent will be placed in his/her own contextual time and space as a contributor and product of his/her cultural identity.
