Medical Audit and Reconciliation

Catalog description

Three (3) credits. 60 hours This course is designed for the student to comprehend the final process in a billing cycle. The student will produce documents related with the following processes: collection, reconciliation, re-billing, and invoice audit for the services and procedures provided and billed to medical plans, in accordance with current federal regulations. The student will relate to the legal aspects that impact health professionals, staff and their implications.
