Catalog description

Within the commercial context, issues concerning office design are studied. Concepts that rule the design of these s paces are discussed from the e rgonomic, functional, aesthetic and universal design perspectives. The use of modular systems and other office equipment is emphasized. A project in office design is developed throughout the semester. The course focuses on aspects related to the design of other public interiors such as hotels and restaurants. A second design project provides a platform for the implementation of the concepts relevant to these issues.
