Three (3) credits, 45 hours Co-requisites: LC 2171 This course is centered on the theoretical and experimental study of carbon compounds and other organic molecules. It emphasizes the physical, chemical, and structural properties of organic compounds, nomenclature, synthesis, and the most common reactions. It includes the importance of functional groups, isometry, and chemistry in the reactivity of organic molecules and its effect on the kinetic and reaction mechanisms.
