Co-requisites: LB 1101 This course is designed to introduce students to the study of modern biology. It is divided into four (4) fundamental areas. The first one is related to the scientific methodology and logic, emphasizing the scientific method with data analysis and interpretation, and living organism’s characteristics. A second area describes the organizational structure of the cell and its functions. The third area deals with the fundamentals of physiology and human anatomy. The fourth area presents students with the topic of ecology, in particular that present in Puerto Rico.
