Catalog description

This course introduces students to principles, theories and concepts used for providing and directing holistic care of individuals with mental health alterations. Students will learn the use of therapeutic communication to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships and with participating in the interdisciplinary team. Learning opportunities for this course include classroom and supervised clinical experiences.
