Catalog description

This course introduces students to gathering and using data to make inferences about a population using mathematical principles. Topics covered in this course include classifying different types of data, interpreting and generating graphical representations of data. Students will learn how to summarize statistics and use probability distributions to calculate the likelihood of events in experiments.
