Catalog description

This course examines the juvenile justice system in America. Students will learn about the history of the juvenile court system in America, the differences between juvenile courts and adult courts, legal rights afforded to juveniles, theoretical explanations of juvenile delinquency, risk factors that contribute to delinquency, and preventative factors that reduce juvenile delinquency.
