This course explores the ethical dilemmas and decision-making challenges faced by professionals across the criminal justice system. Students will examine foundational ethical theories and apply them to real-world scenarios involving law enforcement, courts, and corrections. Topics include the use of discretion, professional responsibility, corruption, and the balance between justice and public safety. Through critical analysis and discussion, students will develop practical skills in ethical reasoning and apply them to complex situations in criminal justice practice.
