Catalog description

This course develops ethical hacking and penetration testing skills with a focus on AI-augmented tools that support efficiency and accuracy in security assessments. Students learn how to generate and refine command-line options for scanning, exploit detection, and other penetration testing activities using AI-enhanced methods. Emphasis is placed on identifying vulnerabilities, documenting findings, and applying appropriate countermeasures in alignment with legal and ethical standards. Through hands-on labs and simulated attack scenarios, students gain practical experience with industry-standard techniques and AI-driven workflows that mirror real-world practices. As part of the penetration testing learning path, this course builds competencies that prepare students for the EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification and entry-level roles in offensive security.
