Catalog description

Pre-requisites: SPAN 310 or SPAN 312 and SPAN 321 or HIST 365. A panoramic course that covers a wide, but representative array of Hispanic writer's writings in Spanish from Latin America, Spain, Africa, and the United States. Literary readings are paired with other media in order to discuss issues of wars, revolutions, dictatorships, exile, migrations, race, class, gender, education, and identity.
