Catalog description

Notes: placement required through the Department of History, Anthropology and Modern Languages and Literatures. Satisfies: a university graduation requirement–diversity. Oriented to Spanish heritage speakers. Focuses on mainly developing the reading and writing skills through exploring topics related to the Spanish heritage population in the USA as well as that of other Hispanic cultures. Issues related to identity and bilingualism are also covered. This course addresses the GE learning outcomes Information Literacy.
