Notes: graded Pass/No Credit. A total of 9 credits distributed over three quarters for the full-time program option and over six quarters for the part-time program options. Pre-requisites: SOWK 571 or SOWK 561 . Practicum and seminars are taken during the MSW specialized curriculum for a total of 500 hours in an agency practicum setting and seminar classes under the supervision of qualified social workers. Students create a specialized learning plan to connect social work theory to practice settings, develop specialized social work competencies, and utilize advanced skills in social work practice.
