Pre-requisites: SOWK 533 or SOWK 561 ; graduate student in MSW Program. Demonstrating knowledge of the most current version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, diagnostic skills are developed within an ethical and culturally responsive framework. Critical conversations of evidence-informed treatments guide the application of clinical decision-making skills. Emphasis is on client strengths, ecology, risk and resilience, and diversity.
