Pre-requisites: ENGL 101 . Provides an introduction to the history, structure, and process of the institution of social welfare and its relationship to the profession of social work and to society. Introduces social work values, ethics, roles, theories, perspectives, and practices, as well as the diverse fields of practice within social work. It introduces the experiences and perspectives of those who are clients of the human services delivery system.
