PROFESSIONAL ISSUES IN OUTDOOR RECREATION.

Catalog description

Pre-requisites: senior standing and declared Outdoor Recreation Leadership major. This course provides a foundation for many of the current professional issues in the field of outdoor recreation. Students will learn about current issues within outdoor recreation programs, outdoor education programs, public land management, and approaches to outdoor leadership. Students will learn about the professional opportunities that exist within the different sectors of the outdoor recreation industry and will help prepare them for their professional internship.
