Catalog description

Pre-requisites: RCLS 201 or permission of the instructor. Provides an introduction to the principles of liability and risk management as they pertain to the recreation industry. An examination of the pervasive nature of risk along with the concepts and methods of risk management are studied. Students become familiar with a body of legal knowledge that helps them reduce liability exposure and manage the risks that are a part of the recreation profession.
