Catalog description

Covers the fundamental historical, philosophical, theoretical, and practical applications of outdoor adventure recreation in the United States. Students learn about the development and growth of the outdoor recreation industry as a means toward quality of life and economic development. Students learn fundamental skills needed to manage outdoor adventure programs and prepare clients for outdoor experiences. Students receive the Leave No Trace Trainer Certification upon completion.
