Catalog description

Pre-requisites: admission to the MS Counseling program. Graduate course of theory and pragmatics in addictive behavior counseling that documents the personal, social and cultural impact of addiction. Designed for those with a specific interest in the nature and treatment of addictive behavior and students preparing for careers in the helping professions. Presents an integrated overview of modern research and intervention approaches. A variety of viewpoints, theories, and treatment approaches are introduced.
