Pre-requisites: POLI 100 . Examines the role of representative governance in the United States by exploring the theoretical underpinnings of the U.S. Congress as created by the Founders, as well as its functions and how those have evolved. It also studies relations between the Congress and the other branches and how members of Congress interact, both institutionally and individually.
