Catalog description

Pre-requisites: POLI 100 . Examines the fundamental concepts, approaches, and leading theories of policy analysis. From a linear conception of policymaking to a more complex understanding of policy, this course provides both a critical and practical understanding of public policy issues, including those in the realm of social welfare, health, energy, environment, food and agriculture, and national and global security. The course content encompasses the development, formulation, implementation, and evaluation of policy.
