Pre-requisites: POLI 100 . Examines the theory, history, and functioning of the U.S. federal system of government. Emphasis is placed on the structure of the system as well as the interrelationships that exist. State and local governments are examined and emphasis is placed on policy formation, dispersion, and implementation as well as the consequences of those policies.
