Catalog description

Pre-requisites: junior or senior standing. Develops competency in geographic information systems (GIS) technology and its application to spatial analysis problems in planning. It does so in the context of applied, real-world planning and policy problems. Topics include data development and management, spatial analysis techniques, awareness of GIS applications, GIS hardware and software, and hands-on laboratory and application projects.
