Catalog description

Pre-requisites: all courses in physical therapy are restricted to students accepted into the program. Covers professionalism in physical therapy including the role of self-reflection, goal setting, giving and receiving feedback, and performance assessment in professional development. Explores ethical issues and cultural competence, including justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI). Introduces foundations of clinical documentation skills. Includes preparation for clinical education experiences through First Aid, CPR, HIPAA, and blood borne pathogen training.
