Catalog description
Pre-requisites: all courses in physical therapy are restricted to students accepted into the program. Corequisite: PHTH 502SL . The structure and function of the human body presented in a regional and systemic approach. Students develop an understanding of anatomical elements through the study of bones, models, atlas drawings, and photographs. Students also work in small groups to dissect human cadavers. The major emphasis of this course is on the structures of the head and neck, spine, thorax, abdomen, and pelvis. Companion course to PHTH 502SL .
