Catalog description

Pre-requisites: passed all previous term courses in the OT program. Introduces the current OT practice framework, which defines domain and process. Provides opportunities to understand the historical and current evolution of occupational therapy’s philosophy and theory development, along with the contributions of theorists within the profession. Students learn the process of theory development and analyze selected practice models and frames of reference for application to OT evaluation and intervention.
