Catalog description

Pre-requisites: accepted into the occupational therapy program. Corequisite: OCTH 500SP . An intensive review of human anatomy and biomechanics as it pertains to the practice of occupational therapy. An understanding of basic anatomy and biomechanical principles is a critical foundation for both evaluation and intervention. Provides a comprehensive overview of musculoskeletal anatomy as well as the neurological, circulatory, and respiratory systems that support human movement. A strong introduction to the biomechanics and kinesiology of the human body. Companion course to OCTH 500SP .
