Pre-requisites: admission to the nursing program. This course examines the concepts of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacogenomics in the prevention and treatment of illness. Emphasis is on the nurse’s role in medication administration and monitoring patient responses to the effects of prototype drugs from selected classes.
