Pre-requisites: MUSC 293 or MUSC 410 . Max/MSP is widely utilized by creative professionals in the fields of electronic music production, sound design, gaming, and mobile app development. Students design, implement, and perform with their own audio effects plugins, virtual instruments, and interactive media while learning essential concepts in digital signal processing (DSP), generative systems, and object-oriented programming. No previous programming experience is necessary.
