Catalog description

Notes: does not count toward the 180 credit requirement. Pre-requisites: approved score in MTHD 103 or mathematics placement assessment (MPA) or ≥C in approved transfer course. Satisfies: completion of this course with a grade ≥C satisfies pre university basic skill. Topics studied are linear equations and functions, and linear systems of equations. Problem solving, use of graphing tools, and quantitative and abstract reasoning are emphasized. Intended to help build conceptual foundations and algebraic fluency for eventual work in Precalculus I.
