Pre-requisites: admission to the Master of Science in Management program or permission of the School of Business Director of Graduate Programs. Applies economic theory to real-world business problems, focusing on tools for effective managerial decision-making. Explores market dynamics, pricing, cost analysis, and decision-making under uncertainty. Emphasis is on applying microeconomic concepts (demand forecasting, competitive strategy, resource allocation) to managerial challenges. Through cases and applied projects, students learn to use economics to improve business performance and strategic choices.
