Catalog description

Pre-requisites: admission to graduate program. This course provides theory and practice with continuous optimization (for instance, general, non-necessarily linear least-squares, with non-necessarily linear constraints, or convex analysis), with such applications as geodetic coordinates, non-linear curve and surface fitting, or machine learning. This course requires the use of computers and software available at EWU.
