Pre-requisites: sophomore standing. This course explores the field of lifestyle medicine and the six pillars that form the foundation of this field - physical activity, nutrition, sleep, stress and resilience, positive social connections, and substance use. Each of these pillars is discussed in detail related to the positive influences they can have on health and chronic diseases.
