Catalog description

Satisfies: a BACR for social sciences. This course provides the fundamental concepts of information literacy, the research process, and ethical use of information in academic context. The focus is on developing practical skills for conducting independent research in liberal arts and social science. Hands-on activities are integrated to teach effective search strategies and the use of library resources to select and evaluate information.
