Satisfies: a BACR for social sciences. Introduces the fundamentals of information literacy: locating, critically evaluating, and ethically using information. Emphasizes information disorder, bias, and media literacy, while focusing on the skills to evaluate the information surrounding us as consumers and citizens. Along with information and media literacy skills, students develop their critical thinking skills and how to communicate effectively.
