Pre-requisites: ENGL 201 or equivalent; admission to the Law Enforcement Leadership & Practice program. Examines the role of cultural intelligence in law enforcement, focusing on cultural awareness, unconscious assumptions, and strategies to build trust in diverse communities. Through case studies and practical applications, students explore ways to enhance community relations, foster cooperation, and improve public safety. Emphasis is on understanding societal dynamics and developing skills to address challenges in policing diverse populations ethically and effectively.
