Pre-requisites: ENGL 201 or equivalent. Students carry out independent research on a topic connected to the course subject matter. Students learn and apply historical research methods. They find, compare, and evaluate multiple scholarly monographs and interpret multiple primary sources for the purpose of constructing an historical argument.
